ok, so heres my situation. Im thinking, i should finish a few Ref's before i upload the 2nd chapter of Lady Djan. Im about half way through it, but i think the visual effect might be enhanced if we all had some idea what the charectors looked like? I've done Asch, i have a sketch and plans for Nadine, and i still need a few more charecters.

WATCHERS!! i would love some watchers! i only have two.. slightly depressing, but im dealing. I think it's because i havn't got alot of work out there. In the meantime, if you're slightly intregued by the few works ive done, please watch, because i have a few competition ideas that i really need people participating in.

CURRENT DELEMA
i need to know how to do cool manes. With individual hairs, and shine and all prettyness? Thats my challenge for now. i will work it out in the end!

Im sorry, but there wont be any art or 'Lady Djan' for a while. Right now at school there is so much happening what with the school play, one million Geography assignments, english being mean to me and a short attention span. By the end of Week 6 (being either week 3 or 4 this week) it should be over, so im holding out -_-'

GOOD NEWS:
i may be converting Lady Djan into a web comic. I had to do a comic for English, so i decided to use Asch and friends and it turned out really well. if i get around to it, we'll see.

Im annoyed for a few reasons.

1. no one entered my comp.
2. DA's not letting me upload anything. I know it'll blow over, but i wanna upload my first Traditional colouring in seriously for ever.
3. I want a pen tool.
4. Weekends only last 2 days.
5. I have alot of stupid geography work, including 2 assinments from the first day back at school this term.
6. Im part of a drama play in about 3 weeks and we still dont even have half the people cast, let alone any script started.
7. Im writting this journal which im sure no one will read anyway.
8. If you are reading this journal i wont know, coz you'll be to lazy to post and say you feel sorry for me. Which you probably dont anyway.
9. I woke up about midday today, so i missed the morning COMPLETELY.


On a happy note, tomorrows mothers day and im going to my Grandparents horse farm. Camera moments!! I might take a few pics of some Welsh Cobs which Nana breeds, and maybe a few Shetlands. I want a shetland. They are extremely cute.

S C R A P - T H A T

While surfing the net, i found some images of a very well conformed horse. i dont know how pretty he is in the real world, but i know he has perfect lines for my art. All good muscles are showing, his face is the right shape, and im even going to base a charector of him.

SO thanks to this brainwave of mine, im scrapping all previous artwork. It will stay in my gallarys, but its not up to date anymore. Those OCs are no longer in use, i never really liked them anyway. Instead im starting a new book! imd eleteing the first issue of my current book which i never got around to writting anyway, and im starting again. More news on the book later, i'll post a link to the first page right here in my journal. So lets get down to buisness.

INTRO
Well i need new charectors dont i!? So following the idea of my friend Black-Heart-Alliance [link] im holding this contest to enter your idea for my book. (i hope its alright with you BHA that i use your contest idea) I'll write the first chapter to [hopefully] get you interested, and of you go!

HOW TO ENTER
Simply note me following out the criteria bellow. If you can, you might like to draw or sketch, maybe colour in, a quick image of your charector for me to base of, but THIS IS NOT REQUIRED. Please fill out all needed areas of the criteria, and if you dont understand something, just ask.

All entrants are to be equine, although they can be any equine breed you like. No special things such as extra limbs, pointy tails, demond horns, these are normal horses with no powers, although un natural colours are welcomed and encouridged. Please be immaginative.

Criteria with an * next to it is required, all else only makes it easier to describe.

2. all entrys to be equine, with no special powers or add ons [e.g. horns, 4 tails, magical powers]. these are normal horses. Unnatural colours + markings are welcomed.
3. The charecter belongs to YOU! By entering you are giving me permission to use YOUR charector at any time throughout the story in anyway i see fit for the story line in question. I do not hold any claim to the acctual charector, although artoworks, lineart, descriptions and written words based on the charector are (C) to me.
4. You will be accknowledged at the bottom of every chapter featuring your charector, with a link to your page. No accknowledgment will take place in any chapter not enforcing your charector.
5. The story will be strictly in good taste. It is a story based mainly for everyone, so your charector will not be used for any sexualy explicit acts, cruely explicit acts or in any other way 'un-tasteful' acts during the story. Although, there may be fights, arguments, and love interests envolved during the story.

N E W - S T O R Y - O U T L I N E

This is just an idea. i still have no clue were the story is going.
The main herd, 'The Indies' herd, rule over the lands. They are at peace with the local American Indian tribesmen, because they know they will never be caged or harmed, and never be denied their freedom. One day a new herd moves in, un aware that there is already a herd in place. They decide not to leave, and the two herds end up fueting over the land. Much happens later, bla bla bla, its all still being worked out.

and i dont like that idea, so just read the story. Ive updloaded the first chapter, it goies along with a few aspects of the previous idea.

Ok, so i've loved horses basically my whole life. My Nan breeds Welsh Cobs, my mum rides and i used to get riding lessons. (untill the damn horse flue broke out and ruined everything. stupid horse flue..)

So when i joined DA on my first account which u dont need to know, i saw HEAPS of really awesome pics of horses and animals and things, much like the style my art is in, only really an awefull lot better. So i decided i wanted to. i could draw that good, why not??

Well yea i could draw that good, but it took me ages to get my act together and work out.. THE SCANNER!! (*creepy, yet dramatic music plays*)

Well then i discover i need a PEN TOOL! you know the thing that makes perfect curvy lines for you? i need one. PS elements 2.0 doesnt have 1. i need to upgrade big time.
